World book day

Since it’s World Book Day I figured I’d share some of my favourite books.

Very Hungry Catarpillar by Eric Carle (image)

This is an obvious choice, children everywhere have read and experience this book, even Willow has a copy of it!image

The Blue Ballon by Mick Inkpen (image)

This book has to be one of my favourites of all time and it still gives me great pleasure to read it now. Willow also has a copy of this book. The pages unfold and expand up to four times the size of the pages. It’s truly fantastic!

The Tale Of Jemima Puddle-Duck by Beatrix Potter(image)

such a great story. I always imagine the waddle of Jemima, Willows Collection of Beatrix Potter books have been placed out of reach so they don’t get damaged but we read them together before bed sometimes, her favourite is Peter Rabbit.

Cirque Du Freak by Darren Shan (image)

From the very first page I couldnt put this book down! I remember so vividly how much I loved this book. It was brilliant.

The Harry Potter Series by Queen J K Rowling. (Image)

what can I say? Where to start? First of all, it’s no surprise, I’ve mentioned my love for these books before but I cannot express enough love in words. I really can’t think of a way to describe how much I love these books. I will read these to Willow when she’s old enough to understand.
