You’re there.

You’re there for my heartache
You’re there for my fear,
You’re there when I’m lonely
When I need you near.

You’re kind with your words,
Firm with your beliefs,
Gentle with your cuddles,
You bring me much relief.

When I’m down and worried,
You’re always there for me.
When I’m on a good day
With me is where you’ll be.

If I need a friend,
Your the first one in line,
When I need comfort,
You always give me time.

You are my one and only,
The second half of my soul,
By being such a big part,
You make me feel whole.

You are my handsome hero,
I admire you,
No Cape or secret code name,
Just you, being you.

Original poem by Faye Lobeck.
