Say your name.

Say my name,
Bastian Please!

I just couldn’t help myself, I wonder how many of you will understand that quote?

Say your name. Say my name.

🎀🎢Say my name, say my name, now no one is around you say baby I love you🎢🎀

Sorry! Sorry! I’m just having way to much fun with this title.

Enough procrastination, I guess I should tell you where my name comes from, well, for some strange reason I spell caboodle (proper dictionary spelling) with a ‘K’ – I think it might be because I’m Welsh, I fluently speak Welsh and because of this I read and write phonetically. Ironically though, there is no ‘k’ in the Welsh alphabet. Maybe it’s got nothing to do with being Welsh, maybe it’s just because I’m a bit dim sometimes. Who knows?

The reason my blog is called KaboodleMum is because I called my baby bag (that huge bag full of baby stuff you see every parent carrying around) a ‘Kaboodle Bag’ and I’m a mum, a cool mum, that’s why I can slap two separate words together and make it a ‘name’ for a blog. I guess I can’t say much else, my blog is about my life, what makes me happy and that’s my family, especially my daughter.
Her kaboodle bag quickly became my handbag too, I had it with me always, ‘KaboodleMum‘ just came to me one day and it was like a lightbulb came on above my head, “that’s it!” I thought and so I created my original blog.

Blogging 101 says to explore my name, share why I chose it, look at my header.
After all it’s what people first see when visiting my blog and first impressions count.
I’ve adjusted my header once or twice, before I knew how it said, ‘4 out of 5 dentists recommend this blog’ , if that’s no false advertising, I don’t know what is!
Needless to say, I managed to change it and it sums up my blog quite nicely, I think.

My personal name was Flowbeth, but I’m no longer using that. I changed it to KaboodleMum to match my blog. I did this because I started two other blogs on a whim and am yet to discover how to delete them. I changed my name to match my main blog so if other people visit my profile they’re more likely to visit the blog I use than the ones I don’t.

And that’s the story of the name I chose for my blog and why I chose it.
