Tomorrow is the day I finish my Christmas shopping.
Kaboodle dad and I already have our strategy planned out. We’ll travel to the farthest shop away and then work our way home stopping off in various different places getting more stuff that’s very much needed for the big day.
I have all the gift cards for the family to buy. A few last stocking fillers for willow, and some stocking fillers for Mei.
We need to finish the food shop and buy a roasting tin for the turkey.
I’m terrible for being a procrastinator, I tend to think that I have enough time to get stuff done and then at the last minute I will try and ram everything in before my deadline. More often than not I am late or unprepared and considering I’ve just celebrated my 25th birthday, you’d think I would have learned my lesson by now. I haven’t, as clearly stated above, I still have many, many things left to buy and do.
Well actually, come to think of it, my list looks relatively small now it’s written down in front of me but in reality it’s the time it takes and the travelling that makes it quite long. We need to travel far and wide because we had the genius idea of buying everyone gift cards for Christmas, and we’ve also decided that we would buy everyone a gift card for somewhere that they would benefit from rather than somewhere they can just ‘use a gift card‘.
We’ve got 6 separate shops to go to just to purchase the gift cards. That’s without doing the food shop and getting the roasting tray!
It goes without saying, tomorrow is going to be a long day and I’m sure by the end of it we will be totally wiped out but, in true-to-myself fashion, I haven’t Started to wrap yet so as knackered as I may be tomorrow evening, the wrapping needs to be started.
No rest for the wicked.
