Grandparents.

Grandparents.

Willow has just one set of grandparents.
Kaboodle Dad’s parents.
They’re the best, most loving grandparents I could wish my girl to have.
Unfortunately, Willow doesn’t see or know my parents, they’re both alive but neither are worthy of knowing my special daughter, who deserves all the care and love in the world. As a mother I made the choice to keep willow away from my parents because they both live inappropriate lives and I don’t want her surrounded by that.
With all that out of the way, it’s probably obvious that I have a lot of respect for my in-laws. They are pretty awesome, Willow adores them, and so do I. They welcomed me into their family with open arms, they had no qualms when Meirion and I announced the pregnancy just 4 months into our relationship, they congratulated us and wished us luck.
We all, all three of us, love them.

Tonight we had to go for a trip to the hospital, kaboodle dad had cut his finger and we thought it best we get it checked out. Hospitals are no place for toddlers, unless they are the ones who need medical help.
Nonnie and Taid (aka Rhiannon and Barrie) were phoned, we asked them if they could watch willow while we visited the hospital and within 20 minutes we had dropped her off with them.

When we returned, willow was fed, bathed, changed and ready for bed.
How awesome is that?

In short, I feel very privileged to have in laws like I do. I’m so very glad willow has such awesome grandparents!
So this ones for you guys, thanks for being there for us when we need you, and even when we don’t. You’re the best!

Hooray for Grandparents!
Love n stuff,
Kaboodle Mum
